When the Lincoln’s moved to Washington after Abe was elected to Congress, they lived in Mrs. Spriggs’ Boarding House on Capitol Hill. The boarding house sat on the present site of the Library of Congress. I can only imagine how Abe would have loved to have access to the collections at today’s LOC.
